Sometimes on Fridays, when Jackson stays at home with us rather than heading off to preschool, and the usually hurried pace of the morning is replaced by a quiet greeting of the day, I steal away to the shoreline for quiet Divine reflection.
I usually mean to make the sunrise, but that really only happens a couple of times a year, perhaps. Nevertheless, I’m met with absolute beauty and serenity without fail when I make the time to Be Here Now and breathe in these moments.
I found my happy place this morning along side Lake Michigan, under the tree canopy just beyond West End Beach along Traverse City’s West Bay. May we each find some happy place to rest in today.
